What Type of Packaging will my flatware arrive in?

We take great care to insure that all pieces arrive in perfect condition. The product will either be in the manufacturer box or a when not available, plain box. Open stock pieces will arrive in plastic wrappers. You can contact us to find out how your package will arrive.

What is a Discontinued (Retired) pattern?

The manufacturer might retire a pattern once the demand for the product warrants it, as well as changes in trends.

Do Discontinued patterns ever come back?

Yes, the manufacturer can decide to produce the discontinued pattern again

Is SHRIANDSAM stainless dishwasher safe?

Yes! Your SHRIANDSAM stainless flatware is meant to be used and enjoyed. We suggest that you rinse your flatware after use before placing in the dishwasher. Any scented detergent (i.e. lemon or orange) is not suggested.

How should flatware be put in the dishwasher?

Load the dishwasher with handles of the spoons and forks facing down and the handles of the knives up.

How should I care for  silver-plate, or gold-plated flatware?

When not in use, keep these types of flatware in a closed drawer or chest lined with tarnish-resistant cloth. We do not recommend any of these three metals to be put in the dishwasher. If you choose to place them in a dishwasher, ensure that you do not mix metals in the same load. Remove flatware before the drying cycle and hand dry. Also, many automatic dishwashing detergents contain bleach that may remove the oxidation that was used to highlight pattern detail. Sterling and Silver-plate do require periodic polishing with high-quality silver polish.

What is Electroplating?

Electroplating: The process of putting a metallic coating on a metal or other conducting surface by using an electric current. It is used to improve the appearance of materials, for protection against corrosion, and to make plates for printing.

The thickness of the layer deposited on the article depends on the strength of the electric current, the concentration of metallic ions, and the length of time the article has been in the solution. The terms triple-plated and quadruple-plated indicate various thicknesses of plating, not separate layers deposited on the surface.

Why did my stainless steel knife blades pit?

Prolonged soaking, (i.e. overnight) in water must be avoided especially where several pieces may be in close contact during the soaking period.  The "rinse and hold" cycle on an automatic dishwasher is particularly hard on cutlery because the pieces are warm and wet for an extended period of time.  Best care for your cutlery is to wash and dry as soon as practical after using, do so should help avoid your knives from getting black unsightly pits.   Pits cannot be removed from stainless once they set in.

Do I need to set up an account before I can order online?

No. When you register and place your first order, an account is automatically set up for you

How do I place an order under Rs. 500?

Customers who plan to order less than 500 worth of products per month can place their orders through our online store with a credit card or through PayPal.

How do I place a large order over Rs. 500?

Customers placing larger orders are invited to open an account with terms with SHRI AND SAM. If you are interested in opening an account, please call +91 8397021999 to speak to someone in our sales department

Where can I check on my orders, billing or update my profile?

Account and tracking information can be found for current and past order in "My Account":

  1. Login to your account
  2. Select:  My Account
  3. Under the ORDERS column select:  See all Transactions
  4. Click on the sales order number
  5. Scroll down the page to the shipping box.  Your UPS tracking number will be listed there, generally the day after the shipment has left our warehouse.

What if a product is listed as "Out of Stock"?

If an item is listed as "Out of Stock" please contact us or call +91 8397021999 to speak to customer service for an estimated date of availability and/or to see if we can suggest a comparable item instead.

Are SHRI AND SAM products available in stores?

Our retail line is available in many retail stores and markets nationwide including our Store Locator.

Are discounts available?

SHRIANDSAM offers discounts to established distributors and to direct clients ordering over 5000/month. Please call +91 8397021999 and speak to someone in our sales department.

When will my order ship?

Orders received in Indian Time one business day will ship out the next business day.  Normal business hours for SHRI AND SAM are Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Indian Time. Please see our website for our holiday schedule.

Why did I only get part of my order?

Orders will be shipped from Our Single locations as we have warehouses in Kundli. For more information on shipping, handling, and processing, please visit our Shipping page. Please contact customer service at +91 8397021999, 0 for any questions about placing, processing or tracking your order, or on our Contact Us page.

Can I track my order?

You can track your package on ShriandSam with the tracking number sent via email on the day your order shipped.  If over a business week has passed since you received your order confirmation and you still have not received your order, please call Customer Service at+91 8397021999.

Do you accept returns?

Please call the Customer Care at +91 8397021999 before returning goods so that you can receive an authorization number for your return. Returns sent to our warehouse without an authorization number will not be eligible for refund.

What if I want to cancel my order?

Please submit all cancellation requests via our "Contact Us" page or by phone at +91 8397021999 as soon as possible and include all the information you received in your order confirmation. Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been shipped. Orders ship about 2 business days after they are placed.
